Mountaintop Log Cabin with Hot Tub, Pool & Fire Pit

Welcome to your perfect Smoky Mountain vacation. You pass through the gate, wind up into 1,300 acres of spectacular wooded mountainside, and feel the whole world fall away. This is Shagbark Resort, Sevierville’s only 24/7 guard-gated community, this charming log cabin perched at the top is your private piece of it. A wood-burning stone fireplace. A bubbling hot tub under the mountain sky. A fire pit that turns every evening into something you’ll talk about for years. Resort access. This is it.

Inside the Cabin

Step inside and the warmth and character of a true Smoky Mountain log cabin wraps around you immediately — vaulted wood ceilings, log walls, nature-themed decor, and a stone wood-burning fireplace that anchors the living room and sets the tone for every evening in. This is the kind of space that makes you exhale the moment you walk through the door. Plush seating, a large TV, and comfortable surroundings make movie nights and lazy mornings equally appealing. The fully equipped kitchen has everything you need for easy group meals — electric stove, refrigerator, microwave, dishwasher, coffee maker, blender, toaster, and all the cookware and dishes you’d need for a full week in the mountains. The dining table brings the whole group together for shared meals, late-night card games, and the slow, unhurried pace that the Smokies do better than anywhere else. High-speed WiFi and a dedicated workspace mean the few who need to stay connected can do so without missing out on the fun.

The Game Room & Entertainment

A multi-cade arcade game gives the cabin a bonus entertainment option that keeps kids and adults equally entertained — rainy afternoons, competitive evenings, and any moment when the group wants to stay in and make their own fun. Board games round out the entertainment options for long mountain nights when nobody wants the evening to end.

Three beautifully appointed queen bedrooms keep the cabin feel going throughout — warm wood details, rustic finishes, and comfortable sleeping setups that make every guest feel genuinely at home. Each bedroom has its own private bath, meaning no sharing and no waiting.

• Bedroom 1 — Queen bed, log furniture, vaulted ceilings, room-darkening shades • Bedroom 2 — Queen bed, rustic wood finishes, TV, clothing storage • Bedroom 3 — Queen bed, rustic cabin decor, peaceful and private • Bathrooms — 3 full baths — one with bathtub, one with soaker tub and rustic stone finishes, one with a clean practical layout

Outdoor Living

Step outside and the Shagbark mountaintop setting takes over completely. The private hot tub sits on a covered deck overlooking the trees — warm, bubbling, and perfectly positioned for long soaks as the mountain air cools and the stars come out above the ridgeline. The long covered deck and covered porch with rocking chairs give the group multiple outdoor spots to settle into at any hour of the day. As the evening deepens, the fire pit calls everyone outside — gather around the flames, breathe the fresh mountain air, and let the night go exactly as slowly as it should. A gas grill with barbecue utensils is ready for cookout evenings, and the private fenced backyard gives kids and dogs room to roam freely and safely within the trees.

Shagbark Resort Amenities

This is where the property truly separates itself. As a Shagbark guest you have full access to one of the most impressive resort communities in the Smoky Mountains — a seasonal outdoor pool, tennis and pickleball courts, basketball, disc golf, a fitness trail, a dog park, a playground, a picnic pavilion, and walking trails winding through 1,300 acres of spectacular wooded mountain terrain. The community is maintained year-round by a full-time staff, with 24/7 security personnel at the staffed guard gate — the only community in Sevierville that can say that. Roads are privately maintained and paved throughout, making access easy in every season.

Getting Around

The Island in Pigeon Forge is just 8 miles away, putting Dollywood, dinner shows, go-karts, shopping, and everything along the Parkway within easy reach for a full day out. Little Valley Mountain Resort with private hiking trails is just 9 minutes away for guests who want to explore closer to home. Come back whenever you’re ready — the hot tub, the fire pit, and the rocking chairs will be exactly where you left them.
